We seek a Dean who radiates a robust faith in Jesus Christ and actively seeks God’s will through prayer. They will celebrate a variety of Episcopal liturgies, delivering inspirational sermons using traditional Christian teaching to meet the contemporary moment. 

We seek a Dean who works to understand the needs of others, deepening their understanding of an issue, and engaging in problem-solving to find solutions that attempt to fully satisfy all involved. They will engage in any disagreements to learn from other’s insights, in pursuit of creative solutions to interpersonal problems. They will pursue resolutions that do not leave parishioners competing for limited resources.

We seek a Dean who can skillfully lead and organize while thoughtfully stewarding Cathedral human and monetary resources. They will effectively manage care of our historic sanctuary and physical plant.

We seek a Dean who warmly welcomes all—including children, elderly, infirm, immigrants, LGBTQ+ persons, and unhoused people. They will advocate on public policies, support outreach ministries of the Cathedral, the Diocese, and The Episcopal Church. They will foster strong relations with city government, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and area faith communities.
