Join us on Thursday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. for an evening with Rev. David Beckmann, author of Poverty Abolitionists: Faith, Activism, and Hope for Difficult Times. Decades of progress against poverty are being reversed. Beckmann will explore what it will take to restore that progress — and how people of faith can help. A World Food Prize laureate, former World Bank economist and longtime president of Bread for the World, Beckmann has spent his life working to end poverty. He now leads the Circle of Protection, a coalition of Christian leaders advocating for people experiencing poverty.
Free and open to the public. All are welcome.
